Since my last post a lot has happened. My wife and I had a baby boy named Sebastian ( http://sebastianroberto.blogspot.com/ ).. 3 days later I traveled to Hong Kong for a week to shoot a band called BLUSH.. Went to LA to shoot a fashion campaign and then again to shoot My Chemical Romance. I also saw Miami's palm tree's and sun for about a month... and numerous shoots and meetings in NYC mixed in... oh and all this while trying to learn parenthood... its been intense and exciting to say the least. A month or so ago I got an email from a photo major who goes to college in Canada but comes from Germany. She asked to do a work week (i guess kinda like a short internship) and today was her first day. She brought me this... pretty sweet and super cool of her to do that! I almost dont even want to eat it. So to all of you students who are thinking about doing internships with photographers, bring them a chocolate camera! (you know, because Im sure theyre so easy to find ha). They will dig it... and if they dont, theyre assholes and you dont want to work for them anyway<div>Well again, Thanks Vera for the ChocoCam!!! Played around with a flashlight and keeping the shutter to the camera open in darkness. I believe they call it painting with light or something or other. Here I gave my wife's cousin's son a light saber. He had to stay super still for 10 Seconds. Just got back from a shoot in London and then went over to Amsterdam for some meetings. I also became an American Citizen!! It's been a long time coming. Its amazing! This one particular lift, has these birds living in the tree's and all you have to do is whistle with a piece of trail mix in your hand and the birds will swoop in, land on your finger and eat it up. Talk about being in the sticks! a little town outside of Vegas called Nelson... an old mining town with a population around 2... Anyway, aside from being a total scortcher ( It was over 100 degrees that day) it was a blast. The location was sick and had a million options. There was a bunch of old 50's cars lying around the property...
